ITINERARY

  • Day 01: Drive to Nagarkot, Hike to Dhulikhel, and return to Kathmandu

    • Drive to Nagarkot (2,175 m) from Kathmandu (1.5 hr.)

    We will wake you up at 4 AM so that we can get a chance to see the Sunrise in Nagarkot before we start our one-day hike from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel. It will take around 1.5 hrs. to reach Nagarkot.

    Nagarkot standing at an elevation of 2175m surrounded by the astonishing views of Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling, Annapurna, Ganesh, and Manaslu. Also, we can view Mt. Everest on the northeast side.

    We will watch the sunrise from the Nagarkot View Tower. After clicking some pictures and capturing memories, we will eat breakfast. After having breakfast, you will be ready to hike to Dhulikhel from Nagarkot.

    • Hike to Dhulikhel from Nagarkot (5-6 hrs.)

    Nagarkot to Dhulikhel hiking is a moderate-level one-day hiking in Nepal. The astonishing view of giant vistas and the greenery environment of pine woods & rhododendrons are the best things that you will experience throughout this one-day hike. Through the off-road trail, you will pass Nala village and Banepa and reach Dhulikhel.

    While passing Nala village, you should try the local food called Khuwa, made from milk. This village is known as a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists. Once you move forward from this village, you will go to Banepa.  Here you can experience the Nepali culture and get a chance to visit many old temples.

    Later, you will reach Dhulikhel, where the day hike’s final destination ends. Here you can get to know more about the Newari culture and tradition. Also, you can reach different temples during our short break time.

    Before lunch, we will spend some time here and capture the people, their culture, and the scenic views of the town with the camera.

    • Drive back to Kathmandu

    Once you finish exploring the town and eating lunch, we will drive back to Kathmandu. We will drop you at your hotel after we reach Kathmandu.

    Also, you can experience the nightlife of Kathmandu by visiting Thamel or Durbarmarg.
