ITINERARY

  • Day 01: Visit Swyambhunath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bouddanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple.

    You will have your breakfast in the hotel and then our guide will pick you up at around 8 AM. From there guide will take you to one of the UNESCO-listed World Heritage Sites, Swayambhunath Stupa.

    • Swayambhunath Stupa

    The Monkey Temple or Swayambhunath Stupa, stands on the top of the fill on the west side of Kathmandu. A sacred place that has 365 steps that will take you to the top of the hill where you can see the giant dome-shaped stupa. It is also one of the viewpoints to watch the Kathmandu city, along with the amazing sunset view.

    • Kathmandu Durbar Square

    After Swayambhunath, the guide will take you to another UNESCO-listed heritage site, Kathmandu Durbar Square. It is an ancient royal palace, where you can feel the history of Nepal. Also, you get to visit different temples nearby and explore the Museum where you will witness the architectural design of the palace along with the details of royals, photographs, and much more.

    We will have lunch here from the rooftop restaurant available around the square. After having lunch, we will drive you to the Bouddanath Stupa, 30-45 minutes away from Durbar Square.

    • Bouddanath Stupa

    One of the most important pilgrimage sites of Buddhism is also known as White Stupa. This giant white dome surrounds itself with different monasteries. It is placed in a huge courtyard where you will not feel any hustle around there. This is one of the most visited sites in Kathmandu and a perfect spot to feel the peace.

    We will spend some time here and we head back towards Pashupatinath Temple.

    • Pashupatinath Temple

    Pashupatinath Temple is one of the biggest temples, placed on the bank of the Bagmati river that represents Lord Shiva and the most important sacred place for all Hindus around the world. This temple has covered a wide area where you can stroll around. Also, you can witness the cremation in Hindu tradition.

    After strolling around, we can have tea and snacks like “chatpate” or any dairy products by viewing the Pashupatinath temple and the cremation by the bank of the Bagmati River. We will attend the evening worshipping called “Sandhya Aarati”, where you will witness the mass attendance of people on this Aarati and the vibe from the live singing of Lord Shiv dedicated songs, clapping hands, people screaming “Jay” is one of the unforgettable moments and worth to attend.

    After finishing this, we will drive you back to your hotel.
